Steinway Hall showcase a range of Steinway & Sons Grand Pianos and Upright Pianos at our London store. All Steinway & Sons Grand Pianos and Upright Pianos are built to extremely high quality and have done since 1853. All pianos are hand crafted in New York and Hamburg to a high level of traditional craftsmanship, painstaking attention to detail, and premium grade materials.

Grand Pianos
Steinway Grand pianos come in seven different designs with varying length and finishes. They are each hand-crafted to perfection and each one will take a total of three years to complete.
The hand-crafted building takes around 12 months then a further 2 years is spent on the wood drying and seasoning. This time taken is so we can ensure that every one of the Grand pianos that leave the factory in Hamburg to come to our London showroom is what you would come to expect from a Steinway built piano.

Upright Pianos
Steinway Hall showcase the Steinway & Sons upright pianos here in London. The Steinway upright really is in a class of its own with proven design methods of the Grand pianos applied into the upright pianos.
Upright pianos are ideal when space constraints rule out Grand pianos. Almost half of the patents acquired by Steinway relate to the upright pianos. Using the same high quality in design, materials and care and attention in the hand-craftsmanship the Steinway upright pianos provide an attractive alternative to the Grand pianos.
They are available in a large variety of veneers, colours, and finishes.
